i don't think he's capable. he's an old grouchy drunk that really was never that good anyway. his (it was him right?) statement that he carried Jerry for the last 10 years is laughable. without Jerry, Bobby would have never been anything, and the Fat Man never needed any carrying. in fact, we were still seeing him right to the very end-when he sucked-and that wasn't because Bobby was carrying him.

I remember your story about minding your own business @ a Ratdog gig and him shoving you out of the way from behind to get to the stage like he was 'mad at the world' ......
Gotta tell ya, if there's a guy alive who -instead of being angry- should be giving joyful thanks on a regular basis for every day he's had since 1960-something when he first met Garcia.....
What in the world would he have amounted to otherwise?
